Inspire positive change
Harmony Platform
From inner peace to community transformation
The Harmony Platform is SANCHILD’s human-centered peacebuilding ecosystem, designed to strengthen resilience, dialogue and community-led transformation.
Rooted in the belief that sustainable peace begins within individuals and grows through relationships, Harmony brings together training, alumni-led Ripple Projects, research, partnerships and long-term community engagement.
Through its Train the Trainer program, Ripple Projects and the Harmony Network, the platform supports local teachers, artists, social workers, youth leaders, activists and community-based organizations in creating meaningful change within themselves, their close circles and their own wider communities.
As SANCHILD International enters its 2026–2030 development phase, the Harmony Project is evolving from a project-based initiative into a scalable model for education, well-being, community healing and sustainable peace.
The structure of Harmony Platform
Harmony Program
The HARMONY PROGRAM is co-designed with professional trainers and focuses on individual well-being, interpersonal connections, trust-building and community-based peacebuilding. Its human-centric approach creates a state of inner peace that impacts the outer environment, where issues are resolved with care and positive intentions.
The HARMONY Program includes:
Train the Trainer program
A capacity-building program carefully designed for local professionals and changemakers, including teachers, artists, social workers, psychologists, youth leaders, journalists, activists and community organizations.
Ripple Projects
Community-based initiatives designed and implemented by Harmony trainees and alumni to adress specific local needs.
Harmony Network
The HARMONY NETWORK provides continuous support, connections and opportunities for HARMONY beneficiaries. Every individual who shares our values and goals may become a part of the network, and support our mission through knowledge, volunteering and contributions.
It consists of:
HARMONY Alumni
Train the Trainer participants who continue to apply the Harmony approach through community-based projects, professional practice and local initiatives.
HARMONY Support
A community of local and international partners, donors, experts and institutions who contribute knowledge, resources, visibility and opportunities to strengthen the Harmony vision.

OUR APPROACH
The Harmony Project is rooted in a simple belief: sustainable peace begins within, and expands through relationships, communities and systems.
Through its Train the Trainer program, Harmony equips local professionals and changemakers with practical tools to strengthen self-awareness, emotional resilience, empathy, communication and trust. These trained alumni then transform their learning into locally led Ripple Projects, addressing community needs in areas such as education, mental health, dialogue, resilience, creative expression, women and youth empowerment, and peacebuilding.
This inner-to-outer approach allows Harmony to grow in a way that is human-centered, locally grounded and adaptable across different contexts, while ensuring that positive change continues beyond the training itself.
OUR VALUABLE PARTNERS
The Harmony Project has been initiated in collaboration with and supported by Rotary International, alongside numerous Rotary clubs, districts, and dedicated members. This shared commitment has helped strengthen the project’s impact, sustainability and potential for meaningful expansion.
Our HARMONY journey started in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Our goal is to continue the work internationally.
Our objectives
✓ To train local professionals in self-awareness, emotional resilience, communication, group facilitation and human-centered peacebuilding.

✓ To strengthen mental well-being, trust, dialogue and social cohesion in communities affected by trauma, division or vulnerability.
✓ To build a sustainable network where alumni, trainers, partners, donors and experts collaborate to advance the HARMONY vision.
✓ To develop the Harmony Platform as a scalable, adaptable and locally grounded model for education, well-being and sustainable peace.
✓ To further demonstrate and strengthen Harmony’s contribution to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
Harmony & The United Nations SDGs
The Harmony Project is rooted in the belief that sustainable peace begins within individuals and grows through education, relationships and community action. As a human-centered peacebuilding platform, Harmony contributes to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by strengthening well-being, trust, learning and collaboration.
Its strongest contribution lies in:
- SDG 16 – Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions
- SDG 3 – Good Health and Well-being
- SDG 4 – Quality Education
- SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals
Through its wider ecosystem of training, Ripple Projects and alumni-led initiatives, Harmony also contributes to broader goals linked to inclusion, equality, reduced inequalities, sustainable communities and environmental responsibility.
